The Broker — What It Is
Tab Trade launched in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.
Platforms
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the thing you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
